What costume categories does seekaya make?
Renaissance and medieval gowns, Gothic dresses, Halloween robes and capes, Oktoberfest dirndls and lederhosen, cosplay costumes, stage and film costumes, tailcoats and formal wear, kids costumes, and accessories. Our catalog covers women, men, plus sizes, and children.
How do I choose the right size?
Each product page includes a size chart in centimetres and inches, with a US equivalent shown for reference only. Measure the wearer’s bust, waist, hip, shoulder, and sleeve length, then compare against the flat measurements. If a measurement sits between two sizes, choose the larger size or contact us for advice.
Do you offer plus sizes and kids sizes?
Yes. Many styles run from S to 3XL or 5XL, and selected collections include kids sizes. If a style is not listed in your required size, ask us — we can often grade it for a production order.
Can I mix colors and sizes in one order?
Yes. A trial order can start from one piece per style, and bulk orders can mix colors and sizes. Tell us the color/size breakdown in your inquiry and we will confirm availability and pricing.
Will the colors match the photos exactly?
Product photos are taken under studio lighting, and monitor settings vary. Small differences can occur between dye lots, especially with deep reds, purples, and blacks. For brand-sensitive programs, request a physical color swatch or a pre-production sample before bulk production.
Are accessories and petticoats included?
Each product page lists what is included. Unless stated otherwise, petticoats, shoes, wigs, and hand props shown in photos are for styling and are not included.
Orders, MOQ & Samples
What is your minimum order quantity?
Our standard MOQ is 1 piece per style for a trial order. Bulk pricing starts at 10 pieces per style, and mixed colors and sizes are welcome. Custom designs typically require 100–300 pieces per style/color depending on fabric and construction.
How do I place an order?
Browse the catalog, open the product you want, choose color and sizes, and send an inquiry. We will confirm availability, pricing, lead time, and shipping, then issue a quotation and order confirmation.
Can I order a sample before bulk production?
Yes. In-house samples for stock styles are usually ready in 3–7 working days. Custom samples depend on fabric and pattern work; we will confirm the sampling fee and lead time after reviewing your brief. Sample fees are often credited against a bulk order.
What payment terms do you accept?
We normally work on T/T with a deposit before production and the balance before shipment. For established partners we can discuss other terms case by case.
Do you keep stock?
Most styles are made to order. Stock changes daily, so contact us for current stock and the fastest dispatch option.
Customization & OEM/ODM
Can you develop a custom costume design?
Yes. Our OEM/ODM service covers style research, tech-pack review, pattern making, size grading, fabric and trim sourcing, sampling, and bulk production. Send reference images, a tech pack, or a physical sample to start.
Can I add my own label and packaging?
Yes. We support private-label woven labels, printed care labels, hang tags, poly bags, and retail cartons. Custom packaging artwork and carton markings can be produced to your specification.
Can you match a reference sample or a competitor style?
We can develop a close match from a physical reference sample, detailed photos, and measurements. We do not copy trademarked characters, logos, or protected artwork without authorization from the rights holder.
What is the MOQ for custom designs?
It depends on the style, fabric, and level of change. Modifying an existing style usually starts lower than a fully new design. Custom programs typically start at 100–300 pieces per style/color; contact us with your brief for an exact figure.
Can you supply size sets for retail or rental?
Yes. We can pack assorted size runs, single-size packs, or mixed-color sets with your barcode and carton labels.
Production & Shipping
What is the production lead time?
Standard bulk orders usually ship 2–4 weeks after sample approval and deposit. Custom OEM/ODM programs typically take 6–10 weeks depending on fabric sourcing, sampling rounds, and order volume. Peak season (August–October) should be booked early.
How do you ship orders?
We ship by express courier, air freight, or sea freight depending on order size and destination. We can quote FOB, CIF, DDP, or door-to-door delivery. Tell us your destination port or postcode for a shipping estimate.
Do you ship worldwide?
Yes. We regularly ship to North America, Europe, Australia, the Middle East, and Asia, with export partners in more than 50 countries.
Can you handle Amazon FBA or retail DC requirements?
Yes. We can apply FNSKU labels, poly-bag warnings, carton weight limits, and appointment-friendly packing. Share your marketplace or DC compliance guide before production.
Quality & After-Sales
How do you control costume quality?
We inspect incoming fabric and trims, check cutting and sewing in line, audit flat measurements against the size chart, and perform a final AQL inspection before packing. Inspection reports and measurement sheets are available on request.
What if I find defective items?
Contact us with photos, order number, and affected quantities within 14 days of delivery. Confirmed production defects are repaired, replaced, or credited. Normal variation in fabric, dye lot, and handmade construction is not treated as a defect.
Do you provide fabric test reports?
Yes, on request. We can arrange fiber-content, colorfastness, shrinkage, and AZO tests through third-party laboratories for bulk programs.
How should I care for the costumes?
Care instructions are listed on each product page. Most structured garments are dry-clean only; polyester and cotton pieces can be hand-washed cold and dried flat. Always test embellishments and trims before cleaning.
